Our location on Alaska’s famous Alagnak River exposes our guests to the legendary Bristol Bay salmon run- the largest in the world. At our Alaska fly fishing lodge, we welcome you to fish for all five Pacific salmon species: king salmon, silver salmon, sockeye salmon, chum salmon, and pink salmon. They are fresh from the Bering Sea, still in their ocean feeding patterns, chrome bright and full of fight. Fishing and wading the Alagnak from our deluxe Alaska tent lodge is very easy. Although the best fishing on the river is within a 10 minute boat ride from our lodge, some of the best spots are literally right outside your front door.
Our fishing program is very easy to customize according to the guests’ wishes. We utilize 6 guide boats, 6 guides, and take only 12 guests per week. We offer 9 hours of guided fishing every day, and if that is not enough, we will take guests out after dinner until our 9pm curfew. If this is too much time fishing and not enough time relaxing, no problem – we let the guests dictate how much time they want to fish.
With our Alaska fly fishing lodge location right outside of Katmai National Park, we also have the option to fly-out to target Alaska’s only designated trophy trout area. These optional guided fly-outs give us the opportunity to fish for spectacular leopard Alaska rainbow trout, arctic char, and grayling. We use our two decades of experience guiding these waters to help decide which streams are at the peak of the salmon spawn. This attracts legendary trophy sized fish to feed on the eggs before the Alaskan winter arrives.
