Alaska Fly Fishing Lodge

Our Alaska fly fishing lodge is considered in the industry to be a deluxe tent lodge.  No, we do not have solid walls on all our buildings.  We use weatherport tents at our Alaska fly fishing lodge, that are on elevated carpeted wood floors.  These tents are considered to be “tent cabins”.   These tent cabins are what makes up a deluxe tent lodge.

The thought of staying in a “tent” sounds pretty rustic.  And Alaska can have some pretty cold weather in the summer.  So, we make these tent cabins as comfortable as possible at our Alagnak River Alaska fly fishing lodge.   With carpeted floors, electricity, heaters, and solid doors, the tents are much more like a cabin.  No, you can still hear the sounds of nature at night unlike staying in a cabin.  Whether it is the salmon jumping in the river, the sand hill cranes calling their mates, or just the gulls flying back to roost from spending the day in Bristol Bay, it all adds to a great Alaska fishing experience.  When it does rain, the sound of rain on the tent roof tops will lull you to sleep.  This is what an Alaska fishing trip should be, not shut our from nature while you are there.

Our Alaska fly fishing lodge also has one of the highest ratios of guests to employees, 10 to 9.  With 9 staff members, our Alaska lodge is kept extremely clean, and we provide daily cleaning service to these tent cabins.  Every day you return to your tent cabin, it is made up as if you were staying at a high priced hotel.  This staff ratio also means that if our guests ever need any laundering done, we can take care of it 24/7.

Our Alaska fly fishing lodge cuisine is also second to none in its class, in fact I am sure it is at the top of our class.  We serve nothing but fresh homemade meals every day, as not one item we serve is pre-made.   From our appetizers during cocktail hour, our fresh garden salads served with fresh bread right from the oven, to our entrees and deserts.  We spare nothing when it comes to our meals.  These are top shelf, and guests from all areas of the world have given our Alaska fly fishing lodge five stars for our food as well as our fishing program.
