Our Alaska fly fishing lodge is located on the Alagnak River. The Alagnak River is one of the top five salmon rivers in the world. It is no wonder that with so many salmon in the Bristol Bay area, the Alagnak River continues to please so many fly fishing enthusiasts every year.
With all the lodges that there are in Alaska, there are many lodges that do not have fly fishing right out their door. With inclement weather in Alaska a common thing, it is hard for many lodges to provide their guests’ with great fly fishing every day of their stay. At our location on the Alagnak River, we do not have to travel in a float plane daily to experience unbelievable fly fishing.
We utilize boats to get to prime tidewater locations within a ten minute boat ride from our Alaska fly fishing lodge. This proximity to our daily fishing program let’s our guest come back to the lodge at any moment throughout the day, without upsetting the other guests fishing time. If the weather is wet in the morning, we come back to our Alaska lodge, throw wet clothes in the dryer, and enjoy a hot meal from our chef while our wet garments are drying. If the weather is nice, we may choose to stay out on the water all day enjoying a stream side lunch all the while enjoying the beautiful scenery and wildlife there is on the Alagnak River.
At days end, we retreat back to our Alaska fly fishing lodge to enjoy a hot shower, and a cocktail with homemade appetizers. Dinner is served daily at our lodge with homemade bread, fresh and hot from the oven accompanying a fresh garden salad. After this course, the main dishes are served, which include such items as prime rib, slow roasted pork loin, baked salmon, homemade chicken Parmesan, etc. Deserts are our chefs specialty or out lodge and include such homemade delights as key lime pie, cheese cakes, homemade truffles, etc. You will not leave any lighter than when you arrive at our Alaska fly fishing lodge!
